The Personnel Department is responsible for the coordination of all job openings within the City. Any job offerings are usually posted through the Internet, local newspapers, and the local government channel (Channel 4). Physical copies of job notices are also posted in the lobby of City Hall, 812 N. 16th Street.

The Personnel Department is also responsible for the retirement and medical insurance benefits of the City.
