The City of Orange Customer Service Department includes the following divisions:
Billing and Collection
The Billing and Collection Division is responsible for the billing/collection of the Water/Sewer/Garbage Utilities. This division is also responsible for the collection of most other revenue sources of the City of Orange.
The City of Orange no longer handles vital records.
The Municipal Court Division is responsible for the court administration functions of the city and falls under the Billing and Collection Division.
The City of Orange Finance Department operates under the direction of the Director of Finance and is responsible for all the financial functions of the City. Activities include Annual Budget coordination, Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, Industrial District Contract billing, investment activities and reporting, project cost accounting, general ledger reporting, divisional budget reporting, payroll processing, purchase requisition processing, accounts payable, fixed asset management and all other accounting activities of the City.
